Even though we do not recommend to reuse the Zenex Plastic Deluxe bedpan, one can empty the contents into a toilet for reuse. Wash the bedpan with warm water and mild disinfectant or hospital-grade cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry before the next use.

How should the bedpan be stored when not in use?

The bedpan should be stored in a clean, dry area away from contamination. Many healthcare facilities keep bedpans in dedicated sanitary racks or storage cabinets.

Can the bedpan be disinfected regularly?
